Studio Mareas is an environmental design studio exploring how design can create better relationships between people and the natural world.

Our work is guided by curiosity, interdisciplinary thinking, and the belief that creative design can help make complex environmental challenges more understandable and meaningful action more achievable.

Working across environmental design, art, ecology, and the built environment, we bring together research, spatial thinking, visualization, material exploration, and hands-on making. We approach each project as an opportunity to uncover new perspectives, connect ideas, and explore possibilities that might otherwise remain unseen.

Our process is collaborative by nature. We work alongside scientists, engineers, ecologists, and other specialists when projects call for technical expertise, connecting their knowledge with our strengths in architecture, planning, spatial design, and creative problem-solving.

From coastal resilience and habitat restoration to nature-based solutions, environmental installations, and public awareness, we seek opportunities to connect people, place, and natural systems.
