Odile is a multidisciplinary designer and the founder of the studio. Her work explores how design can help people better understand, experience, and respond to environmental challenges.

With a background in architecture, planning, material exploration, and fabrication, her work focuses in the space between environmental knowledge and physical design; working alongside scientists, ecologists, engineers, planners, and communities to turn complex challenges into creative, practical responses.

Her interests center around coastal environments, water, climate adaptation, ecological restoration, and the relationship between people and natural systems. She thrives in collaborative environments where different areas of expertise come together, and where ideas can be tested through drawing, visualization, prototyping, and making.

Odile was born in New York and grew up with European and South American influences. She studied Interior Design at the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires before earning a Master of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. At RISD, she developed a multidisciplinary approach to design grounded in coastal resilience, material exploration, fabrication, and iterative thinking.​ Since then, she has continued to expand her knowledge through professional education in coastal resilience, nature-based solutions, adaptive infrastructure, and waterfront design, including WEDG certification.

Driven by a passion for functional, thoughtful design, Odile draws inspiration from her time outdoors. An avid water-woman, she is inspired by the rhythms of the ocean, surfing, and the natural world. She translates these experiences into her work, finding balance between passion and profession.
 

Outside the studio, whether prototyping new ideas or taking objects apart and reassembling them, she maintains an active life alongside Fiji.
