Odile is a multi-discipinary planner who is passionate about connecting people with nature through adaptive, resilient design. She thrives in environments where she can collaborate with experts in coastal engineering, oceanography, landscape architecture, and ecology. She is committed to leading innovative approaches that engage communities with water and shape functional, beautiful, and inspiring spaces —from sea to summit.
Born in New York to parents of European and South American origin, she studied interior design at the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires before earning a Master of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. At RISD, she embraced a multidisciplinary approach to design, grounding her practice in coastal planning, material exploration, fabrication, and iterative thinking. She has continued to expand her expertise through professional certifications and ongoing coursework in coastal planning, climate resilience, including Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines (WEDG) certification, along with continuing education focused on nature-based solutions, resilient infrastructure, and adaptive coastal systems.
Driven by a passion for functional, thoughtful design, Odile draws inspiration from her time outdoors. An avid water-woman, she is inspired by the rhythms of the ocean, surfing, and the natural world. She translates these experiences into her work, finding balance between passion and profession.
Outside the studio, whether prototyping new ideas or taking objects apart and reassembling them, she maintains an active life alongside her barkitect, Fiji.
